Description of the research topic:

The inexpensive availability of mini-computers and the Linux-based operating system offer a clear chance for the implementation of university software developments within an informatics doctoral program. Using open source and free software kits, a compact software package can be developed delivering its service over the Internet.
Within the framework of the research topic, a mathematical statistical developing environment should be elaborated on a Raspberry Pi tiny computer using R and RStudio with simultaneous deployment of the Shiny package that enables Internet interactivity.
In this environment, novel R packages should be developed for topics of descriptive statistics mainly for computer-intensive methods and/or computational statistics as well (the validity, stability (possibly portability) and speed of operations should be justified by using information tools), and further linear and nonlinear regressions (mainly robust, fuzzy and Bayesian parameter estimations; here the novelty is also a request).
The relevance of the Information Technology will be focused on, thus the theoretical and practical novelties of the R-package algorithms will be the standard.
