Description of the research topic:
The aspects of linguistic politeness are considered to be a dynamic and developing field. In order to attenuate the “friction” caused by the illocutionary act, languages use diverse strategies. If we are focusing merely on phonology and morphology, we can mention intonation as a special phonological device, and the use of diminutive suffixes within the morphological resources. These phenomena depend on linguistic varieties and they constitute a fructiferous research area.
