Description of the research topic:
The aim of the project is to adapt, develop, and validate neuroscientific methods to expand the role of the dog as a model species to study human socio-cognitive abilities.Combining two neuroscientific methods (fMRI and EEG/ERP), we can gain a more complex understanding of the spatial and temporal factors of the neural background of dogs’ emotion processing abilities and their relation to human capacities.
