This topic covers research studying the geographies of health in Hungary, the spatial dimensions of diseases and disease groups, the socio-spatial inequalities in healthcare, and the processes and impacts related to the transformation of healthcare systems. Also, it aims at developing new methods for measuring spatial differences in health, and advancing our knowledge on the implications of health and healthcare for regional policy.
