A doktoranduszok a legfontosabb tudományos munkák alapulvételével tegyenek szert elméleti megalapozottságra a büntetőpolitika, mint nézet alapvető kérdéseivel kapcsolatban, nevezetesen: milyen magatartásokat kell büntetni rendelni, büntetendő cselekménynek nyilvánítani, illetve a büntetendő magatartásokat milyen mértékben szükséges büntetni?
