Description of the research topic:
The modification of biomolecules with fluorophores is a well-documented but still an inciting challenge and strong motivation for chemical sciences today. From the syntetic aspect, the real challenge is to retain the functional group(s) of biomolecule. Thiiss seems accessible by Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling, multicomponenet reactions or CH activation. The steady-state fluorescence spectroscopic investigation of compounds is also required.
