Description of the topic: Different treatments are required by different waste for their disposal and/or recycling depending on their composition. Such handling operations could be: ozonation, ultrasound treatment, microwave irradiation separately or mixture of them as a pre-treatment of membrane separation or biodegradation. Defining the impact of these mass- and heat transport phenomena can be different and is very important for each waste. The determination of optimal operation of parameters and operational elaboration is needed by both practical and theoretical aspects as well.
