Description of the research topic:
The companies’ social responsibility gains an increasing importance in Jordan after the State abandonment for many of its economic, social and service roles, where many companies seek to adopt social responsibility active programs taking into account the conditions and challenges facing the society.
The importance of this research is to highlight the role of foreign banks operating in Jordan in the adoption of social responsibility, where the banking is a central sector to the development process of all economic sectors in Jordan, and try to identify if those banks’ adoption of social responsibility is non studied random initiatives or is considered mainly part of their strategies, and get details about trends, procedures.
The overall research objective is to analyze and examine the nature and the extent of corporate social responsibility practices among the foreign banks operating in Jordan and find out how to obtain a broad overview of the corporate social responsibility practices among foreign banks operating in Jordan.
