Hazánk első Kézsebészeti Osztályán korszerű műtéti eljárásokat honosítottam meg a kézfunkció sebészi helyreállítására incl. replantáció, szövetátültetés. A kéz fejlődési rendellenességeinek kezelési központja vagyunk. A kézsebészet oktatását tanszéki rangra emeltem. 2004-ben Budapesten rendeztem a 9. Világkongresszust, megkaptam a Világszövetség legmagasabb kitüntetését: a "Peoneer of Hand Surgery"-t. Több kézsebészeti szakkönyvet, közel 300 közleményt írtam, OTKA és ETT pályázatokat vezettem (to be translated)
