Research
research area	The aim of our studies is to identify the prognostic factors of each subgroup of psoriatic arthritis, to compare the clinical symptoms, their severity, the early or late structural damages detected by imaging technics, as well as the laboratory results. We are looking for a correlation between the obtained results and the effectiveness of the treatment options, the disease activity, or between the comorbidities that typically occur among patients (osteoporosis, obesity, cardiovascular events, metabolic abnormalities). We assess the possibilities of risk factors that have prognostic value during the course of the disease. Furthermore, we examine the frequency of psoriatic arthritis in patients treated only for psoriasis, and we also determine the characteristics of this group by looking for activity symptoms or subclinical signs that characterize early arthritis.
