Számos nemzetközi konferencia tudományos bizottságának tagja, a Mariupoli Egyetem tiszteletbeli doktora, a Miskolci Egyetemen indított villamosmérnök képzés egyik kezdemé-nyezője és iskola teremtője, a Villamosmérnöki Intézet alapítója és első (alapító) igazgatója, az Elektrotechnikai-Elektronikai Tanszék volt vezetője, számos hazai- és nemzetközi pályázat nyertese és irányítója.
