József Mecsi is an executive member of the International Society on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Technical Committee TC302 (Forensic Geotechnical Engineering) President of ISSMGE Hungarian National Committee, and Asociation of Hungarian Geotechnics. President of Scientic Committee some international workshops and general reporter of International conference - Moskow 2010- Chicago2013. He presented more than 1000 geotechnical reports in 42 years practice.
