Szakmánkban az impact faktor és az idézettség nem jó értékmérő. Pl. vezetésemmel készült három, a nukleáris szakmában meghatározó weblap, amelyek eddig 600 000 letöltést szolgáltak ki, hivatkozásaik száma 10 000 fölötti. Munkacsoportunk hozta létre azt az 1326 oldal terjedelmű dokumentumot, amely alapján a BME 100 kW teljesítményű oktatóreaktora 2007-ben 2017-ig érvényes hatósági üzemeltetési engedélyt kapott. Ennek kutatási-oktatási haszna - impaktja - óriási, de az impakt faktor nem mérhető. (to be translated)
