A Szerb Tudományos és Művészeti Akadémia levelező tagja. Egyetemi rendes tanár az Újvidéki Egyetemen (Műszaki Kar, Társadalomtudományi katedra). Filozófiát, szociológiát adott elő a Bölcsésztudományi Kar Magyar Nyelv és Irodalom Tanszékén (Társadalomfilozófia) és a szabadkai Tanítóképző Karon. 1991-től oktatott a szegedi JATE Filozófiai Tanszékén, valamint Szerbiában az alternatív oktatási programokon (Újvidék: Szakosított Akadémiai Stúdiumok) volt kurzusvezető.
