MAB Föld- és Környezettudományi Bizottságának tagja 2000-06. Az MTA Komplex Bizottság tagja 2005-tól. Az Általános Környezetvédelem című szakkönyvét földtudományi és környezettudományi egyetemi képzésekben országosan használják kötelező vagy ajánlott irodalomként. (to be translated)
