I worked in the Institute of Food Research UK, from 1990, from where I retired as Head of Research Group in 2016. During this period I held more than 150 workshops. I am now a scientific advisor at the Univ. of Debrecen & Visiting Professor at the Imperial College, London, UK. In 2014, I received the Distinguished Service Award of the American Soc. of Microbiology. My citation index is ca 5000, H-index: 31 (Scopus, 2018).
