I am Editor-in-Chief of the Hungarian Journal of African Studies. I am vice-president of the Africa Sub-Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Also have membership in ASA, MPTT and the Kenya-based IDEA. I am the institutional coordinator of the EDUC European University Alliance and board member of the Horizon2020-financed EDUC-SHARE. I direct the Africa Research Centre at the University of Pécs.
