Akadémiai doktori címemet a műszaki tudományok, ezen belül az interdiszciplináris alkalmazású számítógépes szimuláció területén szereztem. A szimuláció és ezen belül az általam elért tudományos eredmények alkalmazási területe igen jelentős részben a gazdaságtudomány. A BME-n egy évtizede oktatott tárgyaim, melyek nagy mértékben épülnek saját kutatási eredményeimre (Gazdaságmodellezés és szimuláció, valamint Döntéselőkészítés és menedzsment szimuláció alkalmazásával) szintén ezt támasztják alá.
