A kutatási téma leírása:
High and intensive level of animal production requires developed technical environment including feeding and nutrition. To meet the nutrient requirements of animals with high production level is a basic and essential point for the success of production. Deficiency of any nutrients, biological materials or energy result in metabolic diseases decreasing the production levels and profitability, cause health troubles of animals and decrease the quality of animal products. These phenomena can be found either in poultry or ruminant production. New protein and energy sources have to be found, which can increase the nutrient supply and profitability of production, and can decrease the occurrence of metabolic diseases.
Fullfat seeds, by-products of alternative energy productions and legumes from Hungarian sources provide good possibilities to solve problems mentioned above. The effects of these components in the feeding of animals especially the relationships with the appearance of metabolic diseases have been less studied so far. The aim of the research belong to this problem is to study the effects of these new feed components on the production level and nutrient metabolism of farm animals including poultry and ruminants.
