A spatial prediction database is available containing the Multiple Potential Natural Vegetation (MPNV) of Hungary and the southern neighboring areas. The predicted probability of occurrence of seminatural vegetation types offer a dataset that can be used in landscape ecology studies. The proposed research topic is about the landscape classification of the Northern Balkans based on the MPNV database and the comparison of the landscape structure of Hungary and the Northern Balkans.
