Social dominance orientation is often identified as one of the major determinants of prejudice while social dominance orientation can be modified by actual (depending on the experimental design, see Schmitt et al. 2003) or long-term (institutional socialization, see Dambrun et al. 2009) specificities of the context. The focus of the doctoral thesis could be the dynamic nature of SDO and/or comparative research on social-cultural and contextual determinants of SDO.
