A kutatási téma leírása:
The production of different engineering structures without microstructural discontinuities can be guaranteed only theoretically and further failures can be appeared during the operation. Structural integrity means the suitability of the structures for operation during their total life-time. The aim of the research work is the assessment and qualification of structural suitability using fracture mechanical methods and applying simulation approaches. Main objective is definition and determination of limit curves, theoretically and experimentally, under different loading conditions.
