Description of the research topic:

This research will investigate the applicability of a method of discrete choice experiments (DCE) for managerial decision-makers in different companies, organisations and supply chains. In addition, a methodological approach will provide a clear picture of the usefulness of DCE models in practical business analysis in the fields already studied.
Possible research directions:
− whether DCE (discrete choice experiments) models can be successfully applied to other sectors in the functioning, management and governance of companies, organisations and supply chains, in addition to the fields already found in the literature (psychology, marketing, health economics)
− the expected results will help to identify and quantify the impact of the factors that most influence managers' choices in the sectors studied.
The phenomenon of scarcity is one of the most fundamental problems of economics. It is explained by the fact that the goods we want are not available in the quantities that the needs of the economy and society would require. As a result of these factors, business decision-makers are faced with decision situations, the outcome of which always involves some degree of trade-off. To understand how these choices are made, it is necessary to explore and understand the different preferences of business decision-makers as effectively as possible.
This research will investigate the applicability of a method of discrete choice experiments (DCE) for managerial decision-makers in different companies, organisations and supply chains.
It is assumed that, in addition to the fields already found in the literature (psychology, marketing, health economics), DCE (discrete choice experiments) models can be successfully applied in other sectors. In addition, we will also examine whether the additional attributes include a factor that can strongly influence decision-making.
The significance of the research is to identify, through the expected results, the factors that most influence managers' choices in the sector under investigation. Furthermore, the company can
obtain accurate information to help its future development by quantifying the interchangeability between the factors influencing preferences. In addition, a methodological approach will provide a clear picture of the usefulness of DCE models in practical business analysis in the fields already studied.
