Description of the research topic:
The candidate examines the Hungarian or international emergence, spread and various settlement impacts of gated communities from a social geographic point of view. In this context, it is expected to analyse the morphological and functional adaptation of gated communities to their environment, settlement-level conflicts caused by gated communities, and the mutual relationship of related settlement agents.
