Description of the research topic:

Research on the labour market relevance and development opportunities of soft skills focuses on workers and employers in a given field of activity. It is important to look at the issue in a more specific way, analysing the problem from the perspective of workers and companies in the IT sector, logistics and finance, among others.
One part of the studies will analyse the existence and quality of current soft skills and their compliance with employers. Another important area of research will be to identify development opportunities through organisations and higher education institutions, their success factors and their effectiveness.
Another analysis focuses on the range of soft skills expected by the sector in the future and the alternatives to these skills in the current market.
The treatment of the topic is based on literature analysis on the one hand, and on empirical, primary research, including qualitative and quantitative studies, on the other. The qualitative research will take the form of structured interviews, while the quantitative part will be based on questionnaire analysis.
