Description of the research topic:

Research in the field of consumer behaviour and trust, both internationally and domestically, has undergone significant changes in recent decades, and continues to develop thanks to the application of new production methods and techniques and the production of more and more products. Consumers expect extremely high quality and a high level of customer service when making purchases. The quality expected and received by consumers and consumer satisfaction do not ensure consumer retention. The long-term relationship between consumers and organisations is based on trust. The key to gaining consumer trust is traceability. The research work carried out within the framework of the announced topic includes the following sub-areas: - an examination of the SME sector, - research into theories of consumer behaviour, - analysis of consumer models, - research into the factors leading to consumer confidence, - the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods on consumer behaviour and on earning consumers’ trust.
