Description of the research topic:

Energy security is at the center of today's global environmental and economic challenges, as it is a factor of fundamental importance in terms of sustainable development and the stability of the world economy. The availability of fossil energy sources is increasingly limited, and the impact of energy production on the environment is a global challenge. Nowadays, alternative energy sources are increasingly coming to the fore, especially renewable energies.
Increasing energy efficiency is a priority issue, which on the one hand reduces the environmental load, and on the other hand optimizes the use of energy sources. At the same time, it must also be taken into account that infrastructures and technological developments will significantly transform the energy needs of the future, highlighting the opportunities created by innovation and advanced systems.
Diversification of energy production aims at the wide application of different energy sources and thus contributes to a reliable and sustainable energy supply. In addition, it emphasizes the development of energy storage, which is key to the efficient management of constantly changing energy supply sources and the balancing of energy consumption.
The role of geopolitical risks in energy supply is also decisive in the planning and implementation of safe and stable energy supply. The results of the research on the topic can contribute to the strategic decisions of the energy industry and can help to increase global energy security and determine the path to a sustainable future in the 21st century.
