Description of the research topic:

The relationship between burnout and patient safety in
emergency medical services is an extremely important and
sensitive topic. Emergency medical workers operate in highly
stressful and emotionally demanding environments where they
must maintain high levels of patient care continuously. Long
shifts, mental and physical exhaustion, and exposure to traumatic
events can significantly affect the mental and emotional states of
these workers, which can directly impact patient safety.
Providing emotional support, regular professional training,
proper scheduling of work and rest periods, and the introduction
of stress management techniques can all contribute to preserving
the mental and emotional health of emergency workers,
indirectly improving patient safety.
The aim of this research is to gain a comprehensive
understanding of the moral state and burnout levels of those
working in emergency services, and how these factors affect
patient safety. The goal is to develop a predictive model that can
forecast how patient safety varies with changes in worker
burnout levels. Further objectives of the research include an
international comparison of the results, identifying necessary
intervention points, and making recommendations for addressing
any deficiencies discovered.
