Abbreviation of location of studies: DE MK

Description of the research topic:

Online condition and process monitoring, integration of modern mechanical engineering diagnostic tools into digitized production and other engineering systems. Development of intelligent diagnostic systems in Industry 4.0 and 5.0 environments, development of real-time, diagnostic-based applications. Use of machine learning and optimization methods for technical diagnostic purposes. Application of signal processing tools in machinery condition monitoring. Investigation of production technology processes (e.g. wear monitoring of machining tools, remaining service life estimation) in terms of technical diagnostics. Development of problem-specific, unique testing methods and special purpose software (using e.g. Labview, Matlab). Test rig and in-service measurements.
