Description of the research topic:

Reducing energy loss both for buildings and vehicles is one of the most important ways to protect the environment and energy resources. One possibility for this is the use of thermal insulation, and in addition, the use of advanced (super) insulating materials (multiple aerogels or vacuum panels) is becoming more and more justified. However, these are relatively new materials, and little is known about their properties. During the doctoral work, the main task is the laboratory examination of the thermotechnical properties of these materials. The use of laboratory results for possible simulations of the calculations and examined the various application possibilities. Investigation of the properties and possibilities of phase change materials.
