Description of the research topic:

In rabbit farming, many different solutions of housing systems have been developed. In these technologies, the production of rabbits, and therefore profitability, may also differ. Animal welfare also has to be taken into consideration. It is planned to be examined how the different solutions of housing systems found in practice and under development affect the production, health status, behaviour and welfare of the rabbits. The results of the investigation can provide valuable and useful information from both a scientific and practical point of view.
