Description of the research topic:

The research focuses on the role of Corporate Social Responsibility for exploring the role of CSR in corporate management according to the 3 different pillars (Triple Bottom Line concept). One of the main focus areas are the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, where CSR activities are not among the mandatory elements of corporate planning tasks.
The research includes the assessment of external and internal CSR activities in different sectors, and assessment of the knowledge and attitudes towards CSR and sustainability principles among MSMEs.
Corporate responsibility is built on three pillars: economic (profitability), social (internal and external stakeholders) and environmental (protecting natural environment, supporting sustainable growth). The research follows the principles of Triple Bottom Line concept in corporate management, providing the balance between financial indicators, social and environmental responsibility, for exploring the level of business value, responsibility level and environmental impacts of the analysed sectors or company groups.
