Description of the research topic:

Never before, business management has been so depended on the collaboration within supply chain and its international connections. Actual challenges of supply chain management are disruptions of global trade and goods flows related to results of the global pandemic of Covid-19 as well as army conflicts and natural disasters. Those problems should be solved considering new trends of supply chain management as sustainability, green approach, new technics in transportation and IT including development of Artificial Intelligence. Managers must build new strategies of supply chain construction taking into account different direction of globalization or de-globalization of world trade and collaboration within particular supply chain. The social aspects of the supply chain management should not be forgotten as it is crucial aspect in various stages of supply chain, starting from the customers approach, through the employees and social surroundings.
