The classification of 18th and 19th century poetic epic tradition on the basis of period and type (ballads, poetic novels, epic poems, historical epics, folk narrative poems, etc.)
The survival of the folk epic in the works of Illyés, Ferenc Juhász, etc.
The indirect (Ady) and direct (Sinka, Erdélyi, etc.) survival of the tradition of ballads.
