Description of the research topic:
The more than 500 hundred years of the history of Protestantism provides an opportunity to approach it from the perspective of the history of memory, and sometimes from the perspective of cult studies. The memory of events, people, concepts and places between the 16th and 20th centuries, mostly European, varies from era to era and culture to culture, and its narratives in social history and literature have produced a number of symbols and clichés that function as denominational memories and have a community-building power. The aim is to examine the identity constructions of a well-defined community.
