Description of the research topic:
The proposed topic for research comprises approaches to, predominantly, American fiction in order interpret its recent developments with respect to its poetics as well as to its contextual embeddedness. Research will concentrate on the diverse strategies of post-postmodern fiction to anticipate as well as to react to what is percieved as contemporary medial and social crises.
