Description of the research topic:

The concept and form of modern lyric, history and theories of modern lyrical creation. The concept of late modern objective poetry, major representatives in English language poetry. T.S. Eliot and his contemporaries. The poetic renewal in Attila József’s poetry. The poetry of the Újhold, János Pilinszky, Ágnes Nemes Nagy. The late modern English language poetry after Eliot, the confessional poets, Robert Lowell, Sylvia Plath. The poetry of Ted Hughes.
