Description of the research topic:
The aim of our study is to determine the effects of various addictive drugs (e.g. alcohol and nicotine) on different neurohormones (e.g. CRH, AVP and oxytocin) and neurotransmitters (e.g. dopamine, GABA, glutamate) which play important role in positive reinforcement (sensation of reward) and negative reinforcement (avoidance of reward deficit, anxiety and depression) induced by addictive drugs.
