Description of the research topic:
Based on historical experience, religious-based conflicts involve much greater losses, must be fought with more determination, and their means are not limited. A significant part of today's armed conflicts is based on ethnic and religious bases, and this also generates many asymmetric conflicts. In addition, the topic focuses on the theological and historical foundations, initial forms, causes, and reflections of the persecution of religious minorities, reaching the modern persecution of today. It is primarily looking for the answer to: how the forms of religious extremism have influenced the development of armed conflicts in the history of mankind.
