Description of the research topic:
Formative and diagnostic assessment can play a key role in the development and renewal of school work. Appropriate models and methods of such assessments have been shaped by previous research. However, new research is needed to support practical applications.
Possible research tasks include be the examination of the methods of item writing, test construction and data analysis that can be used in formative and diagnostic assessment, as well as the exploration of the effects of formative and diagnostic assessment on the teaching-learning process.
