Description of the research topic:
The measurement of QT-interval variability is a new and non-invasive method for assessment of proarrhythmic risk. Several studies have demonstrated that QT variability is a more sensitive predictor of ventricular arrhythmias than the parameters of conventional QT-measurements. The aim of our studies is to evaluate the novel parameters for assessment of QT variability in patients with several pathophysiological conditions and in subjects in connection with physical training.
