Description of the research topic:

With the proliferation of smart devices, more and more data sources are available in our environment, which can be used to identify behavioral patterns. In the case of intelligent electrical networks, there is an increasing emphasis on using renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. The aim of the research is the efficient processing of data extracted from sensor networks, the examination of new algorithms for extracting information using sensor fusion solutions, and the implementation of object recognition and behavior forecasting. The foundational requirements of the examined solutions include robustness and the ability to recognize the presence of unknown patterns (anomaly detection, open set recognition, outlier detection).
The main application areas include implementing intelligent surveillance, monitoring, and intervention systems and increasing energy efficiency. The research results need to be examined in a real-world application environment.
