Description of the research topic:
Measurability of results is important for the evaluation of efforts towards sustainability. This requires appropriate indicators and indicator systems (such as the ecological footprint or other approaches). Sustainability indicators can be used in many other areas beyond the national and global levels (e.g. organizational, sectoral, regional, etc.). The aim of the research topic is to make recommendations for decision-makers in related fields (e.g. corporate, policy, etc.) through the output of own calculations and interpretation of the results, and even to contribute to the methodological development of the given indicator(s). The topic is mainly based on quantitative methods, which can be top-down or bottom-up.
Further requirements: • good analytical and synthesizing skills, methodological openness (mainly towards quantitative methods)
• language skills (mainly English) required for the processing international literature
• commitment to sustainability
