Description of the research topic:
One of the key areas in tackling the sustainability challenge is the level of corporate, organizational business models. There are more and more alternative, sustainable business models that view sustainability (environmental, social, broader economic) values as means of creating value, going beyond the previously widespread approach to ex-post cover environmental and social problems. Alternative business models for sustainability can focus on different areas (e.g. resource efficiency, renewable energy, circular economy, sharing- or consumption-based or value-driven business models). Within the framework of the research topic, an in-depth analysis can be carried out of any alternative business models, possibly regarding a sector, outlining the success factors and future development areas of the given field. Several (even complementary) quantitative and qualitative methodologies can be used.
