Description of the research topic:

Recent empirical findings and ongoing research into how we are conscious of our bodies “from the inside” have given rise to many points for philosophical consideration, which makes this a very rich and dynamically developing source of research. Research areas/topics include (but are not limited to) the phenomenology of bodily consciousness; subjective/objective bodily consciousness; bodily consciousness and perception; the spatiality of bodily consciousness; taxonomy of bodily consciousness; bodily ownership and agency and anomalous bodily experiences.
