Public education plays a crucial role in promoting the health of students due to its impact on all students. It can ensure a favorable learning and socialization environment. In the field of education, it can provide students with information related to health and develop appropriate skills for making favorable health-related decisions.
The topic of health promotion involves multiple scientific disciplines and fields. From a sports science perspective, research on school health promotion work can address the following questions:
What are the attitudes of students towards a healthy lifestyle, particularly regarding physical activity?
Does daily physical education add value to achieving the goals of school health promotion?
Do physical education teachers engage in activities aimed at behavior change, and if so, what methods do they use?
To promote regular physical activity, do physical education teachers mobilize other staff members and parents?
What methods and procedures do physical education teachers use to convey persuasive health-related information?
How do physical education teachers create a positive learning atmosphere?
What skills and abilities do physical education teachers emphasize to acquire health-related competencies?
