Description of the research topic:
We determine the effect of sustained endurance training on parameters indicative of left and right ventricular function, monitored by echocardiography, in young male athletes. To assess the level of fitness, we conduct ergometric-spiroergometric examinations, and we examine biochemical parameters that can influence cardiac pump function and growth processes.
