Description of the research topic:
In agriculture condition monitoring is relevant both in plant production (horticulture) and animal husbandry. Collecting relevant data through multiple channels is a key factor and visual (and non-visual) spatial signals (ie. /spectral/images) are useful to identify parameters of agricultural production. Main objectives of the research are to develop a coherent spatial signal processing based solution and advanced analyses methods (time dependent, artificial intelligence or big data. These solutions could contribute significantly to enhance entirely automatic production systems or more advanced precision farming technologies.
