Description of the research topic:

The research into the Cognitive Aspects of Virtual Reality (cVR) explores the next stage of information technology evolution, marked by the transition from traditional 2D graphical user interfaces to 3D environments that open a new dimension of spatiality. This evolution enables the innovative integration of VR/AR/MR systems, human spatial cognition, and artificial intelligence (AI), thereby unlocking new possibilities for expanding human cognitive capabilities – including psychological, cognitive, and social capacities. The focus of the research is on how this integration can offer benefits in the business and corporate environment, especially in decision-making and problem-solving processes, as well as in workplace training.

The aim of the research is to utilize the potential of human-AI collaboration, enhancing operational efficiency and cognitive development to achieve superior corporate performance and competitive advantage. Objectives include examining models and related methodologies, analyzing their practical utility, and identifying advantages and challenges, which are crucial for both scientific research and business applications.

An interdisciplinary approach is particularly emphasized, combining fields such as psychology, computer science, and economics, ensuring the broad applicability of the research topic in corporate practice. The research facilitates the creation of new knowledge and innovative solutions in the evolution of digital business and corporate environments and human cognition.
