Description of the research topic:

The research topic includes the analysis of Western and Eastern European (or possibly North American) literary and cinematic texts from the 20th and 2lst centuries with a theoretical background in biopolitical philosophy, disability studies and the medical humanities: the representations of care, precarity, welfare, health, illness/disease, ageing, death, euthanasia, pregnancy, abortion or any other dilemmas concerning the experience of embodiment.
